Island United AC Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Miami, Florida, operating the North Miami Islanders and the Island United Soccer Academy (IUSA). Founded with the belief that soccer is more than a game, our programs serve as a powerful platform to educate, mentor, and empower youth in our community.
We provide free and affordable soccer opportunities for children and young adults, focusing not only on athletic development but also on building character, discipline, and leadership. Through mentorship and academic support, we create pathways to higher education, professional soccer, and personal growth.
Our academy and club teams give players exposure to competitive leagues, structured training, and community engagement activities that bring families and neighborhoods together. We proudly serve underserved youth, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of participation.

Jeffrey Nicolas
CEO/Founder of Island United AC Inc.

Jeffrey Nicolas is a military veteran, community leader, and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering youth and families across South Florida. As the Founder and CEO of Island United AC Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating the North Miami Islanders and Island United Soccer Academy (IUSA), he leads efforts to provide affordable, high-quality soccer programs and mentorship opportunities for underserved youth. Through his leadership, Island United has become a bridge between sports, education, and community empowerment.
In addition to his nonprofit work, Jeffrey is a licensed Realtor with The Nice Agent Co., where he helps families and investors achieve their real estate goals with professionalism, integrity, and personalized service.
With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and military service, Jeffrey brings discipline, leadership, and a strong sense of duty to everything he does. His passion for soccer, real estate, and community service continues to inspire and create lasting opportunities both on and off the field.
Dr. Philippe Dubois
Financial Consultant/ board member
Philippe Dubois, Ph.D. is the Founder of PSK Capital and a distinguished leader in finance and strategy with extensive experience across the technology, banking, and energy sectors. He holds a Doctorate in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, where his research focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, Firm Performance, Board Gender Diversity, and Director Compensation.
Dr. Dubois has held senior leadership positions within major corporations, international banking institutions, and global investment groups, where he developed deep expertise in corporate finance, capital strategy, and organizational leadership. His background includes extensive experience in fundraising, investor relations, and strategic advisory, working closely with financial partners and institutional investors across global markets.
He has successfully led private capital initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean, directed large-scale infrastructure and economic development projects, and implemented comprehensive investor engagement strategies, including international outreach and industry conference participation.
Recognized for his global perspective and commitment to ethical leadership, Dr. Dubois is deeply dedicated to advancing sustainable economic growth, strengthening institutional capacity, and fostering partnerships that create meaningful social and economic impact.
Andre Antoine
Director of Operations, Island United AC Inc.
Andre Antoine brings years of experience in security and operations management, having previously worked as a Homeland Security contractor. As Director of Operations for Island United AC Inc., he oversees logistics, program coordination, and day-to-day activities that keep the North Miami Islanders and Island United Soccer Academy running efficiently. His leadership and dedication help ensure a safe, organized, and impactful environment for all players and staff.
Gilbert Presume
Founder & President, Island United AC Inc.
Gilbert Presume is the Founder and President of Island United AC Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through soccer, education, and community engagement. With over six years of leadership at Island United, he has been instrumental in building a platform that provides affordable, high-quality soccer programs and mentorship opportunities for young athletes across South Florida.
A 22-year veteran of law enforcement and public service, Gilbert spent four years as a Correctional Officer before continuing his distinguished career in law enforcement. He also served six years in the U.S. military, where he developed strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills that continue to guide his work today. Gilbert holds an Associate Degree in Electronics, reflecting his technical background and commitment to lifelong learning.
Through Island United, Gilbert combines his dedication to service, mentorship, and community development to inspire and uplift the next generation both on and off the field.
STEEVE PIERRE-LOUIS
Board Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer Island United Soccer Academy (IUSA)
Steeve Pierre-Louis is the Board Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Island United Soccer Academy (IUSA), where he provides strategic financial leadership and oversight for all accounting, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
An economist specializing in Microfinance, Finance, and Business Development, Steeve brings over 15 years of experience in banking, consulting, and nonprofit management. He currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at FINCA, a global microfinance institution dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners build sustainable livelihoods. Through his work, Steeve has supported countless families—empowering parents to expand their businesses and afford quality education for their children.
In addition to his microfinance expertise, Steeve is a licensed Life, Health, and Annuity Insurance Professional with Global Finance Impact (GFI). His experience in risk management and financial planning complements his commitment to empowering communities through both financial literacy and long-term stability.
As part of Island United’s leadership team, Steeve combines his professional excellence with his passion for youth empowerment, education, and community development. His disciplined yet compassionate leadership ensures that every initiative at Island United aligns with transparency, accountability, and impact.
When he’s not balancing budgets or mentoring others, Steeve enjoys spending time with his family and contributing to projects that bridge finance, education, and sports to create opportunities for future generations.
